A new Era

I've been into Remote Controlled hobbies for a long time now. It is a really exciting time in RC now, with the advent of electric brushless motors, and the amazing(but slightly hazardous) lipo battery technology, the average person can achieve faster speeds without trying to learn all the intracacies of gas or nitro powered racing.

Electric is beating out Gas Powered

At some courses around the country, electric powered cars are actually beating out the old nitro powered standbys. Its pretty amazing when you think about it. All those years of racing the dirty, noisy gas powered remote controlled cars, and now - we have a clean, sometimes simple, and quieter remote controlled car or truck. I can actually hear tire noise on pavement now, louder than the engine on my old truck!.

Cuztomizing RC Cars

The RC parts out there on the market, are also absolutely amazing. Not only can you get a ton of manufacturer replacement parts, but you can also get upgrades gallore! That old RC car that you have hanging around could be the next Brushless conversion - with the right RC parts kit.
